For an upgrade, provide photos and any available model information so the current mechanism, condition and space can be reviewed before a recommendation is made.

Begin with the basic action each user needs: open one shutter, operate a group or follow a schedule. A compatible motor and controller may support remote operation, an app or a smart-home integration, but these functions depend on the selected components. Confirm which controls are included, whether a hub is needed and who will set up user access.
Power and handover belong in the quote
Locate the proposed electrical supply and agree who is responsible for preparing it. Discuss any required manual override or backup option for the specific system. At handover, ask for an operating demonstration, instructions and the details needed for future service. For business premises, include the people responsible for opening and closing in that demonstration.

Not necessarily. Ask whether the specified system includes a compatible manual override or backup arrangement. A motorized system should not be assumed to include either.
